DIE VERGANGENHEIT
Gleichermaßen von SUNNY DAY REAL ESTATE, QUICKSAND und AT THE DRIVE-IN sowie DEFTONES, RADIOHEAD, MUSE und FOO FIGHTERS beeinflusst, haben FACE TOMORROW seit ihrer Gründung vor mehr als einem Jahrzehnt ihren ganz eigenen Sound gefunden. Das beweisen nicht nur die letzten vier Alben, sondern auch die mehr als fünfhundert Konzerte, die FACE TOMORROW durch ganz Europa bis in die USA geführt haben. Auf großen Festivals wie Lowlands, Pukkelpop oder Groezrock waren die Songs der Niederländer dabei genauso zu hören, wie im Radio oder im Musikfernsehen. Doch nicht nur Konzertbesucher auf der ganzen Welt, auch Produzent Jochem Jacobs - vielen bekannt als Gitarrist von TEXTURES - war von der Energie der Live-Shows begeistert, weshalb er diese zusammen mit der Band in den renommierten Split Second Sound Studios in Amsterdam einfing. Das Mastering des daraus entstandenen, fünften Albums übernahm Darius van Helfteren.

DIE GEGENWART
Die neue CD von FACE TOMORROW, die schlicht so heißt wie die Band selbst, klingt positiver und hoffnungsvoller als der melancholische Vorgänger "In The Dark", bei dem sich Sänger Jelle Schrooten und Gitarrist Aart Steekelenburg mit dem Tod ihrer Väter auseinandersetzten. Die elf neuen Tracks zeigen eine Band, die die Dunkelheit überwunden hat und die glücklich darüber ist, das Leben wieder genießen zu können. Auf die ganz großen Gefühle verzichten FACE TOMORROW deshalb aber natürlich noch lange nicht. Schließlich waren die schon immer der Kitt, der bei ihnen Indie-Rock und Post-Hardcore zusammenhielt.

DIE ZUKUNFT
Die Band brennt darauf, in den Van zu steigen und ihre frohe Botschaft in ganz Europa und darüber hinaus zu verkünden. Den Anfang machen im April Belgien und Deutschland, im Mai folgt eine Tour in den Niederlanden. Am 25. Februar erscheint "The Fix", die grandiose erste Single des Albums, das schließlich am 25. März veröffentlicht wird.



PAST
Both influenced by 90's mainstays as Sunny Day Real Estate, Quicksand and At The Drive In as Deftones, Radiohead, Muse and the Foo Fighters; Face Tomorrow have been mastering their skills for over a decade to come to a sound all their own. Their first three albums and most notably their last album In The Dark, released by Excelsior Recordings/V2 in 2008, allowed them to play over 500 shows and brought them through Germany, the UK, Belgium, Denmark, France, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, the Czech republic, the USA and big festivals like Lowlands, Pukkelpop, Paaspop, Groezrock, got them airplay on a.o. Kerrang TV, MTV 2, Jim TV, TMF Belgium. Gaining both a European audience as growing as musicians with every album. In between all this the band recorded a brand new album in the famous Split Second Sound Studios in Amsterdam with producer Jochem Jacobs (mostly known form his band Textures). Jochem succeeded in finally catching the live power and energy of the band on CD. Darius van Helfteren was responsible for the mastering.

PRESENT
The new CD Face Tomorrow sounds very positive and hopeful compared to the melancholic appropriately titled In the Dark. During the writing process of the latter, both Jelle and Aart lost their father, which of course had a great impact on their life and the lyrics of the band. The new album shows a band that has overcome the dark and is happy to be able to embrace life fully again.

FUTURE
Now the band is excited to get in the van again to spread the Face Tomorrow word throughout Europe & beyond (starting with Belgium & Germany in April and followed by a dutch club tour in May). The first single The Fix is planned for February 25th and will be followed by the release of the full album on March 25th. Club Rotown in Rotterdam has the honour of the release party a day later, Saturday March 26th.
