Heroes & Zeros stehen an der Schwelle zum internationalen Top Act. Dafür sprechen nicht nur ihre Attitüde und der Weg, den sie gegangen sind sondern vor allem ihr Album „Strange Constellations". Dieses brachte ihnen neben hohen Chartpositionen auch Nominierungen als Best New Act und Best Video bei den Norwegischen Grammy Awards 2007 und eine Einladung zum Launch des iPhones in Norwegen ein. Vier Songs schafften es bis heute auf höchste Rotation in Norwegens größter Radiostation NRK P3. Womit Heroes & Zeros eine besondere Position einnehmen, da es ihnen gelungen ist, sowohl Hitsingles als auch ein homogenes Album aufzunehmen. Nicht nur deswegen werden Erinnerungen an U2, R.E.M., Radiohead, Sonic Youth, Pixies oder Spiritualized wach. Zudem spielen Bands wie die Flaming Lips, Motorpsycho, Sebadoh und Pavement eine wichtige Rolle in der Entwicklung der Musiker. Hans Jørgen Undelstvedt, Lars Løberg Tofte and Arne Kjelsrud Mathisen climbed onto a stage together for the first time at Skuret in Oslo in 2005, after spending two years in a cramped rehearsing room deciding on which direction they wanted to go musically. A friend of the band once described the music and said: While the bass-player and drummer has both feet in American rock, the singer wants to sing in a British indie-band. When asked about important albums the trio mentions Radiohead, Sonic Youth, Flaming Lips, Motorpsycho and Indie-rock is heavily represented. Heroes & Zeros was nominated for Best New Act and Best Video at the Norwegian Grammy Awards 2007. The song “Into The Light” was selected to appear in the EA game FIFA 2008. Heroes & Zeros was one of two Norwegian artists selected for the launch of iPhone in Norway.
